Aderyn - Foreverever

Aderyn is slowly becoming a master of her craft with high quality indie pop songs. 'Foreverever' which is her latest release sets the tone going forward and is her most ambitious release to date.
Perfectly catchy and layered, this is set to be a big tune going into Spring 2025. She builds upon an infectious beat with raw and beautiful vocals which suit the instrumentals so well.

CKA - Inside

CKA is a fairly new artist to the exciting Cardiff music scene but is someone who is growing and developing his natural talent, his latest release 'Inside' is a beautiful showcase of culture.
Lyrically and vocally brilliant, his first release of the year is a triumph with soft instrumentals that represent his culture and speciality.
CKA is a singer/songwriter who cares about what he does and his passion for music is undeniable, Inside is a really beautiful track that you can just chill out and listen to while appreciating the crafted storytelling.

Sister Envy - Swallowed By The Ground

Dark, atmospheric and poetic, there are so many superlatives to describe the latest track from North Wales alternative rock band Sister Envy, 'Swallowed By The Ground' is a marvellous track which is their most ambitious release to date.
Sister Envy have never been afraid to stand out from the crowd and this song is a perfect example of that, it is inventive in so many ways and creates a completely new sound which is unique to them but draws you in and leaves you wanting more.
Agnostic of typical genre and not afraid to experiment, this song is already one of the best of 2025 despite only being out for two days, this band will be doing massive things within the next few years. They keep it simple but also catch you off guard with surprises around every corner.

KEYS - What Flavour?

Hailing from all over South Wales, KEYS return with their fun and experimental track 'What Flavour?' This is a song that blends genres, with a hypnotic groove and a growing sense of unease.
Legendary Welsh five-piece KEYS are no strangers to releasing music but this track is sensational and a welcome return to form.
Built on hypnotic groove and funk inspirations, they bring a sense of nostalgia and turn it into something fresh. A playful singalong that keeps you engaged and reflects the era it is based around.

Hannah Paloma, James Jones - Long train rides

One of the most somber and beautiful songs of the year, Hannah Paloma and James Jones collaborate and bring their talent together to create a song which is truly special.
The latest track tells the story of a couple in a long distance relationship and making the journey to go and see each other, the atmospheric nature of this single makes the listener feel as if they are experiencing the journey with them.
The layered instrumentals and vocals help create an immersive experience which is a feast for the ears and something which makes your spine tingle every time. Both talented musicians in their own right, 'Long train rides' is a song that you can't easily forget.
